Dog 9

Our volunteers are passionate in the roles they choose to perform. Let's utilize our time and talents to save as many dogs as possible. Can you help in any of the following areas?

  • - Foster Home
  • - Adoption Day Volunteer
  • - Fundraisers
  • - Dog-Sitters
  • - Event Team
  • - Home Inspections
  • - Dog Training
  • - Transportation
  • - Networking Team

If you're 16 years of age or older we'd love to have you help us at our Saturday adoption events. Volunteers would help us walk the dogs, clean out kennels, fill water, and keep the pooches company. We know that many teens are looking for volunteer opportunities and we can definitely use the help! If you are interested, or know someone who might be interested, please contact us!

Fostering can be a very rewarding experience. When you join our foster program, you become a part of our rescue family! We offer a full support system and you will have a coach guide you through the whole process. We help you determine your unique strengths and then match you up with the right rescue dog to make your fostering experience memorable. You can help save a life!

Foster Application

We receive so many requests to help people with dogs that they are trying to keep out of area kill shelters, but we need the help of those who are able to foster one dog (or more if you want). Like many rescues, we do not have a shelter so all of our dogs live in foster homes where they are safe and learn to be good members of a family. Our foster dogs all live inside the home, and foster parents would need to bring the dog to Saturday adoption events (and pick up if not adopted).

Take a look at our adoption update photo album on our Facebook page to see how happy our dogs are in their forever homes (all those dogs are safe because someone was willing to foster them). Each Foster home is different which is why we need multiple volunteers to house the different cases involved in our rescue. Our rescue takes in bottle babies, Mom & pups groups, surgical cases, and mostly single, healthy dogs. Some fosters are just temporary foster homes for a week or two to help the strain on our regular foster homes.

We pull dogs from pounds that are on death row, pick up dogs found running on the streets and sometimes take owner turn-ins. Please help us! If you know someone who might be interested, please share!
